Full blackout, haze allowed, space-lights included in the rate, and the building to yourselves when the wrap lands at 4 AM.
What comes with the studio.
Viva Studios is a music video studio in Etobicoke, Toronto, with full blackout, a 25 × 25 ft pre-lit cyc, and a grid hung at 13.5 ft under 18 ft ceilings for top light, practicals, and whatever the treatment says goes overhead. Four Aputure Nova P300c space-lights are included, iPad-controlled, and four 15A circuits plus a 20A at the stage walls run the rest of your package. That is real power for an LED package and not enough for a wall of HMIs, which we would rather tell you now.
Playback runs as loud as the artist needs it. The stage is sound-treated, not soundproof, and booking is one production per day, so there is no other crew to think about in either direction. The 45 × 40 ft floor takes choreography and camera moves, while the 1,000 sq ft of flex space next door keeps the label, the manager, and the monitors out of frame.
Music video hours are not office hours. Weekdays 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM the studio is staffed. Overnights and weekends it runs keyless, so a shoot that lights at 8 PM and wraps at 4 AM never waits on a keyholder. The truck-height dock and its 8×10 ft door take backline, set pieces, and whatever the art department swears they need.

Performance on the cyc
The 25 × 25 ft pre-lit cyc is the clean infinite look straight out of the box. Want it in the artist’s colour? The repaint add-on runs $300 for a floor refresh or $1,000 for a full colour swap, chroma key green for green screen work included.

Haze and hard beams
Full blackout means haze actually reads. Bring the hazer, hang top light from the grid at 13.5 ft, and cut beams through it; the four Nova P300c space-lights in the rate handle the base layer.
-
Choreography on the 45 × 40 floor
The full stage floor holds the dancers, the camera move, and the choreographer pacing behind the monitor. 18 ft ceilings keep the wide shots wide.
-
The overnight shoot
Keyless 24/7 access on overnights and weekends. Light at 8 PM, chase the take until 4 AM, wrap when the video is done.
The rate card is the whole bill.
No deposit to hold the date.
